An abstract figurative landscape painting inspired by the baked earth of the Australian bush. A figure alone in a desolute yet peaceful solitude. Wide open arid spaces have always spoken to me. The baked earth, the bone dry air and endless horizons. They always give me a sense of perspective. With this painting I wanted to celebrate that feeling of freedom and expansive clarity.
