A playful abstract figurative painting, this work is inspired by one of the fairies in Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. I wanted to show an impish and Puck-like mischief. Shades of yellow and purple always work so well together, lending a richness to the intimacy of the subject's silhouette.
