I got a bit whimsical with this one. Not ashamed to admit it... I wanted to create a sense of expectant longing so I placed the figure in his own special place where he knows his love will always find him.

There's something uniquely unsettling about being physically distant from loved ones in the modern age. We can be so far away from each other in an instant.

It might be my overactive imagination, but I often find myself thinking: if civilization all suddenly came crashing down and you were marooned, where would you wait for them?
