With this piece I wanted to explore the unparalleled bravery that can only come from youthful inexperience. It's an invitation to dive into the blue and show them what you're made of. 
 
I started with a chaotic underlayer of liquid paints and dyes that mingled to create an almost tie-dyed watercolour effect. I then used this for the body of the suspended figure, shaping him with more solid blocks at his edges. I love how there's something celestial about him.
