Inspired by Sam Neill's line in 'Jurassic Park' when being hunted by a T Rex, I wanted to create a work about suspense. Both intense emotional expectation and the subject suspended within the composition of the painting. By embracing the drips in the process of painting, I've created  a camouflage effect that lends itself nicely to the moment.
