Part of my series on mountainscapes. Love their epic expanses, sheer lines and innately abstract form.

With these two works I wanted to evoke the majesty of the Himalayas. The heat of the foothills, the stacked hazy strata.

I also feel mountains occupy a masculine space in human geography. As I am with my figures, I’m interested in exploring how gender identity can be manipulated and reshaped.
