I’m developing quite a thing for mountainscapes. Love their epic expanses, sheer lines and innately abstract form.

With these two works I wanted to reproduce that minty freshness that I associate with the Alps. Cool, austere and yet playful.

I also feel mountains occupy a masculine space in human geography. As I am with my figures, I’m interested in exploring how gender identity can be manipulated and reshaped.
